Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Michigan-based Power Generation team. The Project Manager will lead a multi-disciplinary group, manage client interactions from pre-positioning to project completion, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of power and energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have utility-scale power experience, strong communication, and the ability to develop strategies, plans, and recovery actions when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with various design teams and communicate effectively.
• Employee-owned culture participation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals.
• Provide daily leadership to the project team and manage communications.
• Monitor budget and schedule; implement recovery plans as needed.
• Routinely report progress to accounting and operations.
• Contribute to proposal development and risk assessment.
