Job summary

WYATT seeks a Mechanical Construction Estimator to develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for complex power generation and industrial projects. You will support preconstruction planning, analyze costs, and help deliver competitive bids that drive project success.

Your day includes reviewing drawings and specs, calculating quantities, evaluating subcontractor bids, and maintaining estimating databases with market trends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction estimating or management experience.
• Experience in power generation, industrial construction environments is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for complex projects.
• Review drawings, specs, equipment layouts, and project documentation to determine scope and costs.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, preconstruction, and operations teams to ensure competitive bids.
