As a Field Engineer, you will support the successful execution of heavy industrial construction and power generation projects by coordinating field activities, monitoring project performance, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements. This role plays a critical part in construction planning, quality control, project documentation, subcontractor coordination, and project controls, helping project teams deliver complex energy, utility, and industrial construction projects on schedule and within budget.

A typical day begins on an active industrial construction site where you work closely with superintendents, craft professionals, subcontractors, and project leadership to support safe and productive project execution. You monitor construction progress, verify quality standards, review drawings and specifications, and help resolve field issues that may affect schedule, productivity, or costs. Throughout the day, you coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and subcontractor activities while maintaining accurate project documentation, including RFIs, field reports, progress tracking, and change management records. You also participate in planning meetings, constructability reviews, inspections, startup and commissioning activities, and short-term scheduling efforts. Your ability to communicate effectively with field personnel, clients, inspectors, and project teams helps keep work aligned with project objectives while supporting operational excellence, safety performance, and successful project delivery across power generation, utility, and heavy industrial construction environments.
