WYATT is seeking a Project Engineer to support power generation and heavy industrial construction projects. You will coordinate field execution, project controls, planning, scheduling, quality assurance, and subcontractor management, working with project managers, field supervision, clients and contractors to ensure safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of construction experience in heavy industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent combination of education, technical training, and field experience may be considered.
• Minimum three (3) years of construction experience in heavy industrial, power generation, utility, energy, or similar industrial environments.
• Experience supporting field execution activities on industrial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering documents, specifications, and technical procedures.
• Experience preparing and maintaining project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and tracking logs.
• Knowledge of construction planning, quality control, safety practices, material coordination, and project execution processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, accountability, and organizational skills.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Review project priorities, coordinating with field leadership, subcontractors, and client representatives to guide ongoing construction activities.
• Perform site walks to verify safety, monitor productivity and quality, and review drawings and specifications.
• Help resolve technical and operational challenges that arise during project execution.
• Support planning and scheduling activities, manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders, and assist with cost tracking and forecasting.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance while supporting commissioning, startup, outage, shutdown, and project closeout.
• Communicate effectively and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and construction execution to deliver successful projects.
