Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative seeks a Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Manager to lead planning, scheduling and work management at its Wisconsin-based generation facilities. The role emphasizes safe, reliable and cost-effective operation, aligning outages, daily activities and long-range plans with cooperative goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering/management field is required.
• Minimum seven years of utility generation, maintenance planning or related experience.
• At least three years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance planning, scheduling and work management across generation facilities.
• Coach and develop planning staff; set expectations and monitor performance.
• Coordinate outages with operations, engineering, stores, safety and contractors.
• Ensure complete work packages with scope, estimates, materials and permits.
• Monitor backlog, schedule compliance and preventive maintenance.
• Lead outage planning, schedule integration and contractor coordination.
• Support CMMS/EAM use and continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
• Analyze data to identify failure trends and improve planning and reliability.
• Collaborate with stores, procurement and leadership on materials and inventory.
