Job summary

fairlife, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Planner to lead planning and scheduling for all shifts, ensuring preventive and predictive maintenance for plant assets. You'll decide execution methods and coordinate with production and maintenance teams to optimize outcomes.

The role requires 7+ years in maintenance planning with strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, CMMS proficiency, and experience in safety, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration. Base pay is competitive with full benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of maintenance planning, mechanical, electrical, or supervisory experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using CMMS and MS Office suite.
• Ability to read vendor manuals, drawings, and P&IDs.
• Strong communication across maintenance, operations, vendors, and leadership.
• Experience in cost analysis, budgets, and repair reports.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to maintenance best practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize maintenance work orders, define scope and planning level.
• Develop detailed job plans including labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Incorporate safety requirements such as lockout/tagout into plans.
• Ensure QA standards and compliance are included in activities.
• Gather docs, drawings, and vendor resources for execution.
• Create work instructions, assemble packages, and coordinate parts.
• Maintain CMMS, records, backlog, and reporting.
• Coordinate with contractors and plant personnel on scope and expectations.
• Monitor completion and close records, collect feedback for improvement.
• Build preventive maintenance schedules and plant trackers with leadership.
