Job summary

United Engines, LLC. is seeking a Power Generation Commissioning Technician II for on-site work across multiple locations. You will install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generators, and document all service activities for customers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in power generation or electrical systems, read schematics, and understand NFPA safety standards. Travel to customer sites is required and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or trade certs are a plus.
• 3+ years of power generation and electrical systems experience; diesel engines okay.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 110 and OSHA regulations; ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair generators.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service on power generation equipment.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, service manuals and technical docs.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers during installations.
• Document findings, repairs, parts usage, and recommendations through service reports.
