Job summary

United Engines in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Power Generation Field Service Technician II to identify abnormalities on customer’s equipment and perform standard repairs, including battery chargers, block heaters and other support gear.

You will troubleshoot, repair, order parts, perform routine maintenance, assist senior technicians, and lead generator commissioning and load tests while maintaining safety and quality.

• Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose standard problems with power generation equipment.
• Perform standard repairs and replace support equipment as necessary.

• Assist senior technicians on larger jobs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow quality and safety procedures.
• Conduct load bank tests to verify generators handle rated capacity.
