Job summary

United Engines in Shreveport, LA, is hiring a Power Generation Field Service Technician II to identify abnormalities on customer generators at the site and perform standard repairs, including battery chargers and block heaters. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, replace parts, and lead commissioning activities for reliable performance.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience, plus a valid driver's license and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience.
Clean driving record and valid Driver’s License.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose power generation equipment.
Strong safety and quality standards adherence.
Effective written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

Identify abnormalities with customer’s power generation equipment at the customer site and perform standard repairs.
Replace batteries chargers, block heaters, and other support equipment as needed.
Troubleshoot and diagnose standard problems with power generation equipment.
Identify and order parts to complete repairs and routine maintenance.
Lead generator commissioning activities and conduct performance tests.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
