Job summary

United Engines, LLC. is seeking a Power Generation Field Service Technician II to operate in the Midland, TX area. The role involves on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of power generation equipment at customer sites.

You will read schematics and service manuals, perform load bank testing, and ensure work adheres to safety and regulatory standards. A strong customer service focus and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of power generation, electrical systems, controls or diesel engine experience.
Experience servicing generators from major brands preferred.
Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 110 and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair generators at customer locations.
Perform preventive maintenance and service work per schedules.
Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Document findings and parts usage in service reports.
