Description

We are looking for a talented Power Generation Field Service Technician to join our Distribution Business in Grand Rapids, MI.

In this role, you will:

• Complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field
• Develop productive customer relations and ensure prompt and efficient attention to customer needs
• Apply documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools
• Assist with completion of required documentation, such as work completed documentation, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens
• Complete training in line with skill and business requirements
• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to their supervisor

Responsibilities

Field Service Power Gen Tech

• A current valid license is required for this role
• A 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations, is required
• Applicant must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• At least 3 years of driving experience
• This role is subject to DOT driving regulations, including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
• Federal law requires CDL holders to be 21 years of age or older; applicant must be 21+
• A CDL may be required upon hire

Qualifications

• Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
• High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
• Ability to perform electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision
• (Advanced) Technician Level III: Significant relevant experience, qualified to perform work on most products in scope, capable of complex diagnosis and repair, minimal supervision, able to train less experienced technicians
• Locally valid driving permit

Salary Range

Min: $64,000; Max: $96,000
