Job Summary

We seek a recent graduate or experienced technician to maintain and repair heavy equipment in the Battle Creek area. Training at our Marne location may be required. You will be provided a service truck for travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on equipment, maintaining records accordingly.

Essential Functions

• Perform vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Follow safety procedures
• Engage in mechanical design, fabrication, and welding
• Operate diagnostic tools and vehicles for testing
• Establish effective working relationships
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively
• Conduct DOT inspections

Qualifications

• Class 'A' CDL or ability to obtain
• Experience with heavy-duty vehicles preferred
• Experience in agriculture a plus
• Willing to pass background checks and drug screening
