Job summary

Grand River Dam Authority seeks an Asset Manager - Generation to support maintenance programs and asset strategies for a range of power generation assets. You will drive productivity and reliability while reducing costs, and collaborate on capital planning and performance indicators.

Responsibilities include leading CMMS/Maximo data workflows, developing reports, and providing data-driven investment justifications. A strong background in asset management and analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or six years of related experience in T&D or power generation.
• Experience with asset management, CMMS, or data-driven maintenance planning.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Promote a risk-based maintenance approach using CMMS and ERP data for capital decisions.
• Lead data collection, input field measurements, labor hours, and logs during work execution.
• Analyze data quality and build reports from the data warehouse; develop KPIs.
• Support asset lifecycle health with condition assessments and PM plans in Maximo/Hydro Amp.
• Create Power BI reports to monitor costs, maintenance metrics, and capital investments.
