Job summary

ISU Research Park seeks a Reliability Systems Engineer (Senior Engineer Generation) to enhance reliability, availability, and performance of generation assets. You will optimize maintenance strategies, improve data quality in Maximo, and develop asset health programs across the fleet.

Responsibilities include leading safety-driven analyses, guiding maintenance planning, and delivering technical documentation. A Bachelor’s in engineering and 7+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• 7+ years of related experience in reliability/maintenance engineering.
• Strong project management and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in analyzing reliability data and improving maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Independently handles complex assignments requiring in-depth analysis.
• Identify problems and propose safety improvements in operations and maintenance.
• Proactively analyze problems and tailor solutions to customer needs with minimal guidance.
• Apply reliability-centered maintenance principles to improve asset performance.
• Develop cost-effective recommendations and clearly document technical studies and plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior staff where appropriate.
