Job summary

CCL Global is seeking a Shop Foreman – Power Generation in East Houston, TX to lead daily shop operations while remaining hands-on with diagnostics, repairs and testing. This on-site leadership role requires 10+ years in power generation, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and experience with diesel and natural gas engines, control panels, and switchgear.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate workflow, perform load bank testing, and ensure quality and safety in every job.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in power generation or related field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with diesel/natural gas engines and generator equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations while staying hands-on with diagnostics and repairs.
• Coordinate workflow and prioritize incoming work.
• Perform load bank testing, startup verification, and final quality inspections.
• Mentor and train technicians while maintaining a safe shop environment.
• Serve as a working foreman with 70% on shop floor, 20% admin, 10% training.
