Job summary

Connect Staffing seeks an experienced Shop Foreman with a strong background in power generation and industrial equipment. This hands-on leadership role requires diagnostics, repairs, troubleshooting, mentoring technicians, and coordinating shop operations.

As a working foreman, you will diagnose diesel and natural gas generators, train staff, supervise daily workflows, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in power generation or industrial maintenance.
• Experience with generator brands (Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, MTU, Detroit Diesel, MQ or similar).
• Generator controls experience.
• Diesel and natural gas engine experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Previous Foreman or Lead Technician experience preferred.

• Perform inspections, rebuilds, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Train and mentor technicians.
• Coordinate daily shop workflow.
