Job summary

Atlantic Detroit Diesel-Allison (ADDA) is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to grow our maintenance business for emergency generators and fire pumps across New York City. Ideal for recent grads or early-career professionals, with hands-on training and mentorship to build expertise in the power generation industry.

You will learn to develop customer relationships, grow a territory in Manhattan and the Bronx, and collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure top-notch support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Recent college graduates encouraged to apply.
• Previous sales, internship, customer service, or leadership experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities for generator and fire pump maintenance agreements.
• Build relationships with prospective and existing customers through networking, site visits, and follow‑up activities.
• Learn customer needs and recommend service solutions that improve equipment reliability and uptime.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate customer records.
• Support territory growth across Manhattan and the Bronx.
• Collaborate with service and operations teams for excellent customer support.
• Represent ADDA professionally at meetings and industry events.
