Job summary

Florida Detroit Diesel Allison is seeking a Power Generation Sales Project Manager to lead cross-functional efforts from quote through warranty, aligning sales and production to deliver on time and within budget. You will own project P&L with the sales team, develop and implement lifecycle reports, coordinate customer communications, and ensure BOM costs match manufacturing needs.

A bachelor's degree and 3–7 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3–7 years related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both spoken and written.
• Ability to manage a project end-to-end and meet deadlines.
• Experience with P&L and balance sheet impact.
• Prior manufacturing, production control, project management, or sales experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems and their implementation.
• Negotiation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from sales quotation to warranty period.
• Implement and maintain reports to manage the project lifecycle.
• Develop and recommend plans for project implementation and administration.
• Coordinate customer communication and change orders; ensure customer expectations are met.
• Ensure delivery, P&L, quality and engineering goals are met; address issues.
• Review contracts to align BOM cost with manufacturing needs.
• Conduct post-project reviews and propose improvements.
• Perform work according to quality standards and safety procedures.
