Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the safe planning, coordination, and execution of pre-commissioning through handover for packaged power-generation systems.

You will establish the commissioning strategy, systemize work, and direct multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include leading readiness reviews, coordinating energization, first-fire, and synchronization, and ensuring adherence to procedures, OEM requirements, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Substantial progressive experience in power generation, rotating equipment, industrial facilities, EPC execution, field service, startup, or commissioning.
• Demonstrated leadership of mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, energization, startup, performance testing, reliability runs, customer handover, and multidisciplinary site teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project-specific commissioning, startup, performance testing, and turnover strategies.
• Lead commissioning readiness reviews and coordinate energization, first-fire, synchronization, load acceptance, and functional testing.
• Direct commissioning personnel and coordinate OEMs, contractors, customers, Engineering, Quality, Operations & Maintenance, and third-party providers.
• Develop commissioning plans including system boundaries, schedules, staffing, risks, and turnover requirements.
