Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. in Houston, TX, seeks an Installation Manager to lead safe planning, coordination, and execution of equipment installation for packaged power generation systems.

You will interface with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, HSE, and customers to ensure turnover to commissioning. The role requires extensive field leadership, strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to drive schedules and safety compliance across multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in power generation, rotating equipment, EPC execution, or field service.
• At least 3 years in installation/field leadership roles.
• Experience installing packaged reciprocating-engine generator systems or similar equipment.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, drawings, and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain installation execution plans covering scope, sequencing, resources, and turnover criteria.
• Review contracts, drawings, ITPs, and vendor docs to establish installation basis.
• Lead site-readiness reviews and coordinate resources for installation milestones.
• Direct daily work coordination with project teams, contractors, OEMs, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, procedures, OEM requirements, and safety standards.
