Job summary

POWERX is a premier provider of comprehensive power services, delivering field services, engineering, and compliance across the US and Canada. The Field Service Technician (NETA 3) is a project lead responsible for conducting moderately complex inspections, testing, data collection, and reporting for de-energized equipment.

The role requires travel up to 50% and a strong safety focus within a people-first, equal-opportunity environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Background check and drug testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Moderate/Advanced electrical measurements and data collection.
• Lead and manage projects; supervise technicians and co-lead technicians.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings.
• Set up and remove test equipment; ensure proper handling and storage.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness; assist in maintenance and safety compliance.
