Job summary

POWERX in the United States is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) to lead projects, perform inspections and measurements on de-energized equipment, and write comprehensive reports.

You will set up test equipment, supervise field technicians, ensure safety, and collaborate with operations to meet project goals. Travel up to 50% and a strong customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of field service experience in power or industrial settings.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED certifications; Power DB training a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, lift up to 50 pounds, and wear PPE.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to advanced electrical measurements and data collection.
• Lead and manage projects from start to finish; supervise technicians.
• Write detailed test reports and ensure timely submissions.
• Set up and remove test equipment; maintain equipment and workspace.
• Ensure safety and compliance during field work.
• Travel up to 50% as required.
