Job summary

POWERX Edge is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and measurements. You will set up and remove test equipment, conduct basic acceptance and maintenance testing, and collect data with limited supervision.

The role requires knowledge of hazardous electrical energy procedures, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer-service skills. Travel up to 50% and OSHA/NFPA training are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical college degree preferred.
• NETA certification level 2 preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical testing or field service.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test for de-energized locked out/tagged out equipment.
• Record and report test data accurately.
• Set up/remove test equipment and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings.
