Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests and data collection, set up and remove test equipment, and conduct basic acceptance and maintenance testing with limited supervision. The role requires knowledge of hazardous energy procedures and strong documentation skills.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience, OSHA 30-hour and related training, and a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory background/MVR check.
• Pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable-suspicion and/or random drug tests required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Interpersonal and social skills; strong customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test de-energized equipment and record results.
• Set up and remove test equipment; maintain and store tools.
• Write detailed test reports and submit promptly.
• Record and report measurement data accurately.
• Support project team and assist senior technicians as needed.
