Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Purchasing / Logistics Coordinator in Bridgewater, NJ to support procurement, vendor coordination, material movement, and delivery requirements for power generation and energy operations. This permanent, full-time role links Purchasing, Suppliers, Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Warehouse, and Project Management to ensure timely orders and on-time deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in purchasing or logistics, strong supply chain knowledge, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and procurement of goods and services.
• Prepare, process, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth shipping and delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other data.
• Review and analyze vendors, supply, and price options.
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
• Negotiate pricing and supply contracts.
• Ensure products and supplies are high quality.
• Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies.
• Update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential development.
• Collaborate with procurement manager to complete duties.
