Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager, Power & Energy, to lead mid-sized to complex projects from initiation through closeout. You will supervise cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure client satisfaction while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering or related field, PMP/CAP-M certification, and 7–10 years in project management within A/E/C. Travel and remote work within the US are possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related major, or equivalent experience in a technical or engineering firm.
• Essential project management certification required (e.g., PMP, CAP-M).
• 7 to 10 years of relevant post education experience in a project management role within our industry.
• Sound understanding of project delivery process within the A/E/C industry and well-defined background and experience in project management.
• Well-developed analytical and organizational skills, with business acumen to bridge the business and project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project supervision, overseeing administrative, commercial, and technical components of assigned projects.
• Oversee cross-functional teams to manage budgets, hours, expenses, deliverables, and contract obligations.
• Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and cost estimates; assist in margin analyses and risk contingencies.
• Coordinate contract negotiation, presentations, and meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation such as PMP, QP, PSP, and risk registers; ensure QA/QC compliance.
