Job summary

Wheeler Machinery Co. seeks an external Account Representative for Power and Energy accounts in the Oil & Gas market. You will drive revenue, expand existing relationships, and serve as the primary P&E point of contact for customers, reporting to the P&E Product Support Sales Manager.

You will develop market opportunities, meet customers in person, and coordinate with service and parts to align on priorities and expectations, while leveraging Caterpillar data and CRM insights.

Qualifications

• Proven successful sales experience in a technical field, preferably power generation or oil & gas.
• Understanding electric power generation types and applications.
• Willingness to travel and meet customers in person.
• CDL is required or must be obtained.
• Minimum four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a forward-looking view of addressable market opportunities.
• Assess customer performance and needs, recommending actions to meet revenue targets.
• Build long-term customer relationships through regular in-person meetings.
• Be the single point of contact for Oil & Gas customers for success.
• Build and present estimates using CRM and PSE data.
• Maintain data in CRM tools and coordinate with service/parts teams.
• Deliver parts to customers and ensure realistic expectations.
