Job summary

Wheeler Machinery in Vernal, Utah is seeking a Power and Energy Account Representative to grow revenue and strengthen customer relationships in the Electric Power and Oil & Gas markets. You will develop opportunities, expand existing accounts, and serve as the primary P&E point of contact for customers.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in a technical field.
• Minimum four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills.
• Must obtain and maintain CDL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a forward-looking view of addressable market opportunities using intelligence from Caterpillar and industry sources.
• Assess and report on customer performance and needs to drive revenue targets.
• Help develop an individual learning plan and SMART goals each year.
• Meet with customers in-person regularly to build lasting relationships.
• Provide single point of contact for Oil and Gas customers for success needs.
• Build and present estimates to customers using CRM and data.
• Maintain key data within CRM.
• Deliver parts to customers on an as-needed basis.
• Coordinate with service and parts to align with customer needs and expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
