Job summary

Wheeler Machinery Co. is seeking an EPG Field Technician for our Vernal, UT location. This full-time role involves installing and starting up Caterpillar power systems, coordinating with customers and vendors, and ensuring safety and schedule adherence on projects.

You will manage on-site documentation, travel to job sites (overnight travel possible), and support project meetings to keep milestones on track while maintaining profitability and quality standards.

Qualifications

• CDL license required and clean driving record.
• Experience with start-up/commissioning of power gen systems.
• Strong customer-facing communication and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and start-up tasks on Wheeler equipment.
• Oversee scheduling and on-site coordination with customers.
• Track project documentation and safety compliance.
• Coordinate travel to job sites including overnight stays.
• Represent Wheeler at project meetings.
• Maintain project profitability by managing expenses.
