Job summary

Energy Vault seeks a power electronics engineering intern for a 3-month, 40-hour-per-week role. You will design and verify tests in EMT simulations and HIL platforms, collaborating with internal and external teams to meet project requirements across grid-connected energy storage systems.

The role targets Master’s or Ph.D. candidates with strong power systems background and hands-on experience with Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, and power electronics components such as inverters and DC/DC converters.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field with strong power systems/power electronics background.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, energy storage and data center industry.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and power electronics systems.

Responsibilities

• Help design and perform verification tests in EMT simulation and HIL platforms.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to verify system requirements meet project needs.
