Job summary

Torus, Inc. invites a Power Electrical Engineer Intern to help design, test, and mature energy storage products. You will assist in building test fixtures and prototype equipment, and work with the Hardware team to optimize inverter performance.

You’ll thrive on hard problems, take ownership from sketch to spec, and grow in a fast-paced, safety-conscious manufacturing environment at our Salt Lake City facility. This internship runs May–August, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Continuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Completed Freshman year (2 semesters).
• Strong academic performance, GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Hands-on experience with Arduino, C-programming, soldering preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components.
• CAD experience with SOLIDWORKS.
• Working knowledge of Google/Microsoft Office.
• Previous internship or work experience is a plus but not required.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to commit to the full duration of the internship and schedule.
