Job summary

GE Vernova's Energy Storage group is seeking a student intern in the Application Engineering function to help shape how energy storage technologies are applied across datacenters and utility-scale projects. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical systems, power electronics, or energy conversion demonstrated through coursework or experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
• Available to commit to a full-time internship schedule for the designated term.
• Eligible to work in the United States for this internship without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support development of system configurations for Energy Storage System applications in datacenter and utility-scale projects.
• Assist in calculating and analyzing energy storage performance scenarios to evaluate sizing constraints.
• Research energy storage technologies, market trends, and industry standards to support decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to customer-facing technical content.
• Participate in technical discussions and document site requirements and use-case needs.
• Help prepare technical presentations, application guides, and internal reports for stakeholders.
