Job summary

Torus is offering a Power Electrical Engineer Intern role at its GigaOne facility in Salt Lake City. You will contribute to designing, testing, and maturing an energy storage product line, building test fixtures and testing prototypes, and collaborating with a team of hardware engineers to advance battery and inverter performance.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, applying your Electrical Engineering studies to real-world energy storage challenges, with a structured internship

Qualifications

• Continuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Completed Freshman year (2 semesters).
• GPA 3.0 or higher typically.
• Hands-on experience with Arduino, C-programming, soldering preferred.
• CAD experience with SOLIDWORKS.

Responsibilities

• Design, test and optimize energy storage and inverter technologies.
• Build test fixtures and assist in test development.
• Prototype equipment testing and collaboration with hardware engineers.
