Job description

Position Title

Power & Analog Design Engineer II – Onsite, Tucson, AZ.

Security Clearance

Active U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.

Location

1151 E Hermans Rd, Bldg M02, Tucson, AZ, United States.

Salary Range

$68,900 – $131,100 USD, inclusive of applicable incentives.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design, analysis, test, and documentation of electronic circuits.
  • Support integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories.
  • Provide product test and troubleshoot support.
  • Understand and report execution status relative to planned budget and schedule.
  • Function as an individual contributor performing engineering work.
  • Clearly present work product to leadership.
  • Engage in professional growth and development.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
  • Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience (or Advanced Degree in related field).
  • Education or experience with RF, power, analog, digital, or mixed‑signal circuit design/an analysis.
  • Experience with analog laboratory equipment (waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
  • Experience with circuit simulation software.
Preferred Qualifications and Tool Experience
  • Knowledge of design‑related tools: Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, Microwave Design Studio, HFSS, ADS, SABER RD, SIMPLIS, xDX Designer.
  • Experience in designing power‑supply topologies (buck, boost, buck‑boost), FET/BJT devices, op‑amps, filters, clock/data termination, comparator circuits.
  • Experience with subsystems integration and test, problem investigation, statistical process control, technical writing, formal presentation, and engineering change notice processes.
  • Experience supporting or executing electronics CAD layouts for printed wiring or circuit boards.
  • Self‑starter, able to work independently or as part of a small technical team.
  • Desire to lead design efforts or small teams, with ability to communicate status to program leadership and/or customers.
