Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Engineering Physics with 2+ years of electrical engineering experience.
Experience with power electronics and system modeling is preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead projects with plans, milestones, and quality improvements.
Collaborate on issues to keep Trane Technologies at the technology forefront; contribute to IP filings.
Design and simulate power electronics topologies, model thermal and EMC considerations.
Model electromechanical systems using Matlab/Simulink/PSIM/PLECS.
Develop test plans and analyze data to ensure reliability and safety.
Coordinate with Supply Chain for vendor onboarding and part release.
Collaborate across functions to integrate new technologies.
