Pike Engineering in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an entry‑level engineer/technician to support our Engineering team with a mix of office and field work, applying hands‑on technical skills to help design safe, reliable, and cost‑effective solutions for power distribution projects.

You will learn design tools, follow workflows, enter data accurately, and build a foundational understanding of each project’s technical requirements under experienced supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree may be required for some projects).
• 0-2 years of experience in power distribution engineering, electrical craft work, or GIS/CAD-related work.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to field and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of project and job packages using company and client design software and work management tools.
• Prepare drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions.
• Provide regular project status updates and coordinate with internal and external partners to meet timelines and objectives.
• Learn and apply company and client workflows and procedures.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.
