Job summary

Technical Talent Group is partnering with a Chandler, AZ-based firm to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on power distribution for industrial facilities. You will design systems, perform analyses, and prepare schematics and layouts using AutoCAD, while mentoring 2–4 Electrical Designers.

You will coordinate with project managers and clients, review technical specs, and support construction with RFIs and submittals. PE preferred; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5–8+ years of electrical engineering design experience in industrial/commercial facilities.
• Strong experience with electrical power distribution systems and calculations.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and familiarity with SKM/EasyPower.
• Experience reviewing drawings and guiding electrical designers.
• Solid knowledge of electrical codes and design practices.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution systems for industrial facilities.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop, short-circuit analyses, and equipment sizing.
• Specify transformers, switchgear, panels, breakers, feeders, conductors.
• Develop schematics, single-line diagrams, layouts, and construction drawings.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2–4 Electrical Designers; review deliverables.
• Coordinate with PMs, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide field support during construction; RFIs and submittals.
