Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of design experience within commercial or industrial environments.
• Solid technical proficiency in power distribution systems and complex engineering calculations.
• Expertise in AutoCAD and familiarity with electrical analysis tools like EasyPower or SKM.
• PE license is preferred, though candidates actively working toward licensure are encouraged to apply.
• Annual salary target of approximately $131,000.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical power distribution designs for commercial and industrial settings.
• Perform voltage drop, short-circuit, and load calculations for project success.
• Select electrical equipment including conductors, breakers, switchgear, transformers.
• Produce construction drawings, single-line diagrams, and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Conduct protective device coordination and arc flash studies.
• Oversee medium and low-voltage systems including UPS and emergency power.
• Provide technical direction and review 2–4 Electrical Designers' work.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review documentation and designs to ensure quality and code compliance.
• Provide field engineering support: submittals, RFIs, site assessments.
