Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full-Time Power Distribution Engineering Intern to join our Summer Internship Program in the Cottonwood Heights, UT office, with Meridian, ID also considered. This 12-week internship runs from about May 17, 2027, for students enrolled in Civil Engineering or related programs.

Participants work alongside senior staff, gain exposure to real projects, and participate in mentorship and networking through the Developing Professionals Network.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in Civil Engineering or related undergraduate program.
• Interest in Civil Engineering and desire to advance skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to take direction from leadership and mentors.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing and software/tools.
• Authorized to work in the United States at internship start.

Responsibilities

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering undergraduate program with an anticipated Aug 2027 graduation or later.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Take direction from leadership, mentors and managers to execute projects.
• Uphold workplace safety per WSP policies.
• Authorized to work in the United States at internship start.
