Job summary

WSP USA is offering a Full‑Time Power Distribution Engineering Intern position in Cottonwood Heights, UT (Meridian, ID also considered) as part of the Summer Internship Program. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside senior staff on real projects for 12 weeks, starting May 17, 2027, with flexible start date.

We seek students actively enrolled in Civil Engineering or related undergraduate programs, capable of professional communication and following directions from mentors.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in civil engineering undergraduate program.
• Interest in civil engineering and in advancing skills related to WSP projects.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication with engineering and non‑engineering audiences.
• Able to take direction from leaders, mentors, and managers on projects.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12‑week summer internship program starting May 17, 2027.
• Work with senior staff on real projects in the Power and Energy team.
• Develop technical writing and software proficiency.
