United Grid Solutions is seeking a Transmission Engineer to lead design and engineering efforts for high-voltage lines, including renewables interconnections. The role involves technical leadership, project scheduling and budgeting, and coordination with clients and internal teams to deliver safe, cost-effective transmission solutions.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s in engineering, 1–3 years in electrical utility transmission design, and familiarity with NESC/IEEE standards.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in engineering, ABET-accredited preferred.
• 1–3 years of electrical utility transmission line design experience (69 kV and up).
• Knowledge of line components, foundations, grounding, sag and tension, and bill of materials.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering guidance and solve complex problems in transmission line projects.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Produce technical reports, calculations, drawings, and sketches with high accuracy.
