Job summary

The role includes billable client work, project leadership, and developing engineers and designers while guiding schedules and business development.

The incumbent will supervise engineers, perform responsible charge duties on projects, and participate in employee development and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Civil Engineering from a four-year college or university.
• ABET accreditation of the engineering program is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience as a practicing engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor other Engineering professionals.
• Review work of subordinate Engineering professionals.
• Provide engineering/technical guidance for problem analysis and resolution.
• Approve timecards and expense reports for direct reports and assist in annual reviews.
• Assist in recruiting and business development for the group.
• Perform project management activities on assigned client projects with responsible charge engineering duties.

Education

BS in Electrical or Civil Engineering
