Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years progressive engineering experience.
Experience with heavy-duty vehicle design preferred.
Experience with wiring harness design and BOM management.
Familiarity with electrical load analysis, power optimization, and regulatory standards (SAE/NFPA/ISO).

Responsibilities

Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and input on modular BOM structure.
Use analytical tools to assess power, grounding, EMC, signal integrity, and thermal management.
Perform design trade-offs for robust, manufacturable concepts.
Use ECAD tools to create, review, and release vehicle components and harness assemblies.
Support designs through lifecycle from development to production launch and field support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, controls, and manufacturing engineers.
