Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership for electrical architecture and component-level cost optimization across battery, energy storage, and industrial products.

You will translate system requirements into electrical architectures, mentor distributed engineering teams, and drive design reviews while collaborating with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and validation teams.

Qualifications

8+ years of electrical/electromechanical product development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related field.
Experience with electrical architecture, sensors, harness interfaces, BOM optimization, and design reviews.
Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor engineers across locations.
Strong knowledge of sensors, switches, heaters, pumps, DC/DC converters, power distribution, and harness interfaces.

Responsibilities

Own technical direction and design reviews for the electrical workstream.
Translate system requirements into electrical architecture, component, interface, and verification requirements.
Lead lower-cost alternative selection for switches, sensors, and electrical isolation components.
Assess impacts to PCBA interfaces, controls, diagnostics, harnesses, BOMs, and system performance.
Coordinate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, supply-chain, and validation teams.
Review nearshore deliverables and ensure release-quality documentation.
