Job summary

Kiewit Power Engineering is seeking a Mid Level Electrical Engineer to contribute to design and execution of large power projects across North America. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, an EIT license, and at least 3 years of power engineering experience.

You will work within the Design Engineering department, mentor juniors, and coordinate with construction teams to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT license or active status.
• At least 3 years’ experience in power engineering duties.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques for large power projects.
• Coordinate design efforts and prepare interface points with construction partners.
• Prepare electrical designs including layout, schematics, calculations.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure standards compliance.
• Collaborate with internal engineers and construction teams.
