Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Professional engineer license preferred or able to obtain (PE) for location.
• Experience with high voltage transmission line, substation, and structural design is expected.
• Familiarity with industry standards (NESC/IEEE) and design software is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, and related tools is essential.
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee structural engineering tasks for transmission line and substation projects.
• Design foundations (drilled piers, spread footings, piles) and steel structures.
• Perform PLS-CADD modeling, structure spotting, and BOM reviews.
• Assist with substation layout designs and related drawings.
• Prepare equipment specifications for procurement and factory testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate project tasks across teams.
• Ensure QA/QC per HDR processes and collaborate across locations.
• Support technical papers and industry presentations as needed.
