HDR is seeking a Substation Project Structural Engineer for our Power Delivery team. The ideal candidate will execute structural engineering tasks for substation projects, prepare specifications, and provide technical guidance to team members.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Active professional engineering license in the U.S.
• 5+ years experience in structural engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering software essential.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Execute structural engineering tasks for substation projects.
• Prepare and review specifications for materials and construction.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to EITs.
• Perform quality checks according to HDR QMS.
• Collaborate with engineers on standards and project reviews.
