Job summary

MasTec Power Delivery seeks an experienced Safety Leader to drive project safety programs across regional sites. You will develop and maintain PSSEPs, conduct risk assessments and audits, and mentor leaders on health and safety commitments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management and at least five years in safety leadership within the energy sector, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years recent verifiable safety leadership experience in the energy sector.
• Experience with electrical transmission and distribution operations and construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NESC and NFPA regulations and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PSSEP and safety content compliant with client requirements.
• Lead safety audits, hazard assessments and corrective actions.
• Coach leaders on Health & Safety Program and conduct performance reviews.
• Travel periodically to support and deliver projects.
