Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a hands-on Project Safety Manager to support safety across power generation construction, maintenance, commissioning, outage, and capital improvement projects across the United States. The role emphasizes field presence, strong relationships with operations teams, and proactive risk management.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of safety experience, OSHA expertise, and a proven track record in leading safety programs on large-scale EPC projects, including

Qualifications

• 7+ years of safety experience on power generation, industrial construction, utility, energy, manufacturing, or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard mitigation practices.
• Experience leading safety programs, incident investigations, audits and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support project safety programs across nationwide projects.
• Conduct field audits, site inspections, safety observations, and compliance reviews.
• Assist with JHAs, pre-task planning, and risk assessments.
• Promote safe work practices for mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and commissioning activities.
• Identify hazards with project leadership and implement corrective actions.
• Support outage, startup, and commissioning activities from a safety perspective.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and participate in root cause analyses.
• Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and employee engagement.
