Job summary

MasTec Power Delivery is seeking a Director, Safety System & Program Excellence to lead the Safety Management System across the segment in the United States. You will own the SMS, drive governance, and oversee policies, standards, training, and communications, partnering with operations, IT, HR, and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive safety, operational excellence, or program management experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level initiatives.
• Experience administering safety management systems and enterprise software platforms.
• Strong data analysis, dashboard development, KPI management, and business reporting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Establish governance for effective SMS implementation and continuous improvement.
• Lead development and deployment of HSE policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee safety communications, alerts, and lessons learned.
• Ensure alignment of safety programs across operating companies and regions.
• Provide strategic oversight of the Safety Information Management System.
• Lead safety scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting tools.
• Develop standardized reporting methodologies and ensure data quality.
• Drive automation and efficiency through system design and workflow improvements.
• Lead enterprise-wide strategic projects and leadership development initiatives.
